8 Effective Methods to Get Rid of Bunions Naturally

1. Madder (Rubia tinctorum)

Madder root infusion should be consumed as soon as the first symptoms of bunions occur. Put a teaspoon of madder root in a glass of hot water. Boil for 10 minutes then let it cool. Strain and drink 100ml of infusion 2 times a day.

2. Dandelion and iodine

Chop 100g of dandelion flowers or buy them from the pharmacy. Pour iodine over the chopped flowers until you cover them. Soften your feet in hot water and apply this solution after. Apply the solution as a compress. This procedure should be performed daily before going to bed for two weeks.

3. Mustard, dry yeast, motor oil and turpentine oil

The madder infusion treatment is very effective in combination with this homemade ointment. Mix a teaspoon of dry mustard, a teaspoon of dry yeast, a teaspoon of motor oil and 2 tablespoons of turpentine oil. This ointment has an unpleasant smell, but the result will amaze you!

4. Burdock and turpentine oil

Burdock and turpentine oil compresses are an effective remedy for bunions. You must be careful when performing this procedure as turpentine oil can cause skin burns. Grease the outside of the burdock leaves with a little amount of turpentine oil.

Wrap your feet up to the knees then cover with food wrap and a fleece. You should apply this procedure daily for three weeks.

5. Iodine and salt

Make foot baths for pain relief. Dilute 2 tablespoons of salt and 10 drops of iodine to one liter of water. Do this procedure twice a day.

6. Vinegar, an egg, lard and turpentine oil

This ointment prevents the bunions. Put 1 egg in a glass. Pour vinegar over it to cover the egg.

Hold the egg in a dark place for two weeks until the shell is dissolved. Discard the leftover egg shells, add 10 g of turpentine oil and 1 tablespoon of lard. Mix the composition. You’ll get an excellent ointment. Apply on the affected area, alternating with the iodine and salt procedure.

7. Propolis

Propolis compresses are an effective remedy for bunions. Heat some propolis and apply it on the affected area, cover it with gauze and let it act overnight. You can also use propolis tincture. Apply compresses for two weeks.

8. Iodine and aspirin

Dilute 5 aspirin tablets in 10 mg of iodine. Apply this mixture on the affected area before bedtime. Do this procedure for three days then take a two weeks break.

Keep in mind that these remedies are in addition to professional treatment.
