How To Get Rid Of Milia at Home! The Safe Way!

Whiteheads or white spots, also called milia, appear on the face when the dead cells remain stuck under the skin. They are divided into two types: primary, which are the most common, and secondary. The first appear in both babies and adults and disappears in a few weeks or months, following the process of cell renewal. At the base of the second type there is a skin infection.

The good news is you can get rid of these white spots, milia with some natural remedies.

Apple vinegar or lemon juice
Both ingredients dry these fat spots, leading to their disappearance. If you have a single milia spot, soak a cotton bud in vinegar or lemon juice and keep it press on it for 5 minutes. Repeat this procedure 2-3 times a day, preferably several days in a row. But if you have several milia spots over your face, use a cotton pad, soaked in lemon juice or apple cider vinegar, and apply it on your face.

Potato mask
Put some potato slices in the blender, and apply the obtained mask over the affected areas. Leave it to act for 30 minutes then remove it with lukewarm water. This treatment is ideal for people with milia all over the face.

Steam baths
Prepare a herb infusion (at your choice – mint, lavender, chamomile, lime) and stand with your face in the steam for 10 minutes then dab your face with a clean cotton towel. Apply this in your evening routine and you’ll notice a big improvement. Your skin will be smoother and cleaner.

Honey
Apply this ingredient over the affected areas and let it act for 15 minutes, and then remove it with water and apply a moisturizer.

Rose water
Reduces excess sebum, removes dead skin cells and fights against white spots. For better results, mix rose water with sandalwood powder. Apply the paste on your skin and let it take effect for 15 minutes, and then wash it. Apply this remedy as much as needed until the problem disappears.

Castor oil
This natural ingredient has beneficial effects for many skin conditions including acne and whiteheads. You can use it as such (in a small amount) or you can mix it with 1 teaspoon of baking soda to form a paste. Apply the paste on your face and let it act for 30 minutes then remove it with cold water.
