How to use baking soda for skin, nails and teeth. 6 treatments available to everyone

It‘s customary in the kitchen and you can consider it a reliable friend when you do general cleaning. Baking soda is the magic powder that can be used in cosmetic treatments like skin and nails care.

Baking soda acts as a scrub, removing red spots on skin and reducing acne and excess sebum. With sodium bicarbonate you can clean and strengthen yellow nails. Moreover, it whitens your teeth and freshens your breath.

Skin toning
Try it in the morning when you wash your face and neck and you’ll see that your skin will look firmer. Make a paste of two tablespoons of baking soda and a teaspoon of warm water, apply the mixture using circular motion on the face, neck and décolleté and rinse out with plenty of hot water. Skin appearance will be visible improved.

Use it as a scrub
Weekly, gently exfoliate your skin with this powder. It gently cleanses the skin and removes dead cells on the skin surface. Put a tablespoon of baking soda in your cleansing lotion, apply it on the skin then massage.
If you have oily skin, add two teaspoons of oatmeal in the cleanser because together with baking soda they thoroughly clean and wipe excess oils and impurities.

Remove blackheads
After you wash your face with warm water, apply a mask made by two tablespoons of baking powder and water. Keep the paste on the skin for at least ten minutes and massage in circular motions to cover all areas with blackheads.
The mixture is effective in acne treatment process. Rinse your face thoroughly with warm water then wash with cold water.

Nail whitening
Your fingernails have yellowed due to dark shades of nail polish applied in several layers? You can clean them with baking soda. Soak them in water with baking soda and wait a few minutes to act.
Before you apply nail polish, apply baking soda and water on the cuticle using a brush. Thus you prevent their yellowing.

Take care of heels
Baking soda is effective in case of heel cracks and calluses. It cleans your toenails and cuticles, softens the skin and get rid of corns, while moisturizes the skin. Well, all these positive effects don’t occur immediately, but after a few treatments.
Mix half a cup of baking soda with four liters of water and keep your feet at least half an hour in this mixture. Massage them with a fat cream.

Freshens breath and whitens teeth
Bad mouth odor is a common problem. The good news is that you can easily fix it with this affordable and indispensable ingredient. Instead of spending a small fortune on mint sprays and chewing gum to get rid of halitosis, use a cheap and effective trick.
Put a little baking soda on your toothbrush and brush your teeth. The powder has beneficial properties for your mouth. It reduces acidity and kills bacteria.
Baking soda can also be used for teeth whitening, but also if you have problems with tartar or coffee, wine and tobacco stains.
