Since ancient times, black radish has been successfully used as a natural remedy in various diseases such as digestive and gall bladder disorders, lung problems, cold, and other viral diseases. So, the below homemade syrup for cough and hoarseness made from black radish will bring you back on your feet.
– 1 black radish
– 2-3 tablespoons of natural honey
Don’t peel the radish, just wash it thoroughly with cold water, then cut off the above side of the radish, put it aside, and then make a hole in the interior of the radish with a teaspoon or a knife. Remove the core, but be careful to leave 1-2 cm of content around. Add the honey inside the radish, put the lid back on and let it macerate overnight to form the syrup.
For adults and children over the age of 7, take 1 tablespoon of syrup 3-4 times a day. For children between 2 and 7 years, 1 teaspoon is given 3-4 times a day. The remedy is not recommended for patients suffering from gallstones.
