Stretch marks are unsightly and it’s very hard to get rid of them. They usually appear after a pregnancy, but can appear after losing weight quickly. If stretch marks are old it will quite hard to get rid of them, but you can fade them. In the case of new stretch marks, those with a reddish color, you can actually get rid of them for good. And the following remedies are very useful in this regard.
Castor oil is used to treat many skin problems such as blackheads, brown spots, age spots, moles or wrinkles. And it’s incredible effective in getting rid of stretch marks too, if you apply it every evening for 2 weeks on the affected areas.
You can apply natural aloe vera gel directly to the affected area, and let it act for 1 hour, and then rinse. Repeat this procedure every evening for 2 weeks and you’ll see big improvements. If stretch marks don’t fade, continue with the remedy to 1 month.
You can also prepare a homemade body lotion. Mix 50 ml of aloe vera gel with 10 ml of liquid vitamin E and 5 ml of liquid vitamin A. Apply the lotion on the skin and massage until it penetrates the skin deeply. Repeat this process daily.
Lemon juice contains natural acids that help to reduce stretch marks. It can also be useful for acne or other scars.
Massage with circular motions the affected area with freshly squeezed lemon juice. Wait for at least 10 minutes until you rinse with lukewarm water.
You can also prepare a mixture made of equal quantities of cucumber and lemon juice. Apply the solution on the stretch marks. Let it act for 10 minutes, and then rinse with lukewarm water.
The egg white remedy
Mix easily 2 egg whites then apply the mixture in a thick layer, on clean skin over the stretch marks. Leave until it dries and then rinse the area with cold water. Then take a warm shower and well the area with soap. Apply olive oil over them to hydrate your skin. Repeat this procedure daily for at least 2 weeks.
