Insufficient sleep, stress or long hours at the office are just some of the factors that cause dark circles and unsightly puffiness under the eyes. A healthy and a balanced diet is the key to prevent and treat dark circles.
Here’s what you should eat or avoid:
1. Drink plenty of water
Water helps eliminate toxins and reduces water retention. Try to drink less coffee as it represents an incentive for the water retention.
2. No Salt
Try to reduce salt intake. The body takes the necessary salt from foods such as cheese, sausage, yogurt. Avoid adding salt into your food for a week and you will notice the differences.
3. Cucumber juice
It is one of the most effective remedies in treating dark circles. Considered the best natural remedy for skin, cucumber reduces inflammation, closes the pores, cleans the skin, relaxes the eyes and reduces dark circles. 10. Green tea
Green tea has beneficial effects throughout the body, is a powerful antioxidant, reduces cardiovascular disease and cancer risk. On the other hand, it is a great remedy for skin rejuvenation. Store it in the fridge and apply it as a compress on tired eyes, three times a week.
