3 Highly Effective Blackhead Removal Scrubs You Can Make In Seconds

When it comes to blackheads, there are plenty of treatments out there that promise heaven on earth. However, since it is not exactly a serious health problem but more of a nuisance, you should try to give natural ingredients a chance. As blackheads are unsightly, I am sure you’d rather save some money and take a more natural approach. That’s what I did and never looked back. Keep reading and see what I’ve got in store for you. This article is all about my favorite 3 DIY blackhead removal scrubs for a delicate facial skin.

I am sure you already know, but I would like to point out you should never squeeze the blackheads. I know it is tempting but you can actually make things worse. This is how the bacteria would spread from your pore to the skin. And you don’t want that infection going all over. So, resort to some natural scrubs you will love for their efficiency.

Here are the 3 homemade blackhead removal scrubs for a delicate facial skin:

1. Turmeric, sugar and honey scrub

Yes, these three ingredients combined will make for a great scrub. The turmeric will soothe and reduce the pores due to its anti-inflammatory properties. Also, the antioxidants from the honey will give your skin the healthy glow it deserves.

To make this scrub, you will have to mix together 2 tbsp of honey with 1 tbsp of sugar and 1 tbsp of turmeric. Just dab on the area with blackheads and rub it gently. Wash it off with lukewarm water.

2. Lemon and salt scrub

It might sound harsh but the combination of lemon and salt is quite amazing! You will banish any bacteria with the salt and the lemon juice will just brighten the skin, completely removing the blackheads.

In order to make this scrub, you will need to mix 1 tablespoon of sea salt with 1 teaspoon of water and ½ teaspoon of lemon juice. That’s it, just apply to the blackheads area and massage in for a few minutes. Make sure you rinse the area very well with lukewarm water. If you think this scrub is drying the skin a little, you can use jojoba oil to moisturize the are after the scrubbing.

3. Gentle oatmeal facial scrub

And, now, my favorite from all three, is this beautiful and very gentle oatmeal facial scrub. I hope you will love it as I am!

Thus, the ingredients you will need for this are:

– ½ cup of rolled oats
– 1 tbsp of lavender flowers
– 1 tbsp of baking soda
– 2 tbsp of sea salt
– 7 drops of lavender essential oil

Let’s make this.

Put in a grinder the rolled oats, the lavender flowers and the 7 drops of lavender essential oil. Make sure you mix them all for about a minute. Then, simply transfer the mixed ingredients to a bowl and add the sea salt and baking soda.

You can now store this scrub in a glass jar and use it whenever you need. To use it properly, you will need to combine 2 teaspoons from this scrub with 1 ½ tsp of water or milk. Then, make sure you scrub gently on the blackheads areas with your fingers.

If you find it to be too harsh, you can add honey too when you are mixing it with water.

Moreover, this is also great simply as a mask by mixing it with milk until you get a thick paste. Smooth it over your face and then rinse everything with warm water 20 minutes.
