4 Homemade Eye Creams To Reduce Puffiness & Wrinkles

The most delicate area on your face is the skin underneath our eyes. Because it is the thinnest layer of skin, we are prone to show early signs of blood circulation issues which lead to puffiness and wrinkles. Due to different problems such as pigmentation, illness, lack of sleep or poor diet, puffiness and wrinkles can be a real struggle in the long run. Thus, we need to take preventive measure so we can get rid of these issues. Hence, eradicate puffiness and wrinkles by making your own DIY eye cream solutions using natural ingredients. And, in this article, you will find 4 of my favorite so far. Keep reading!

After researching for a while, I finally made a list of my favorites eye creams you should try to DIY. Despite being simple and easy to make, you’ll be surprised how well natural ingredients will work for you. Thus, rejuvenate the delicate skin underneath your eyes with these amazing DIY eye cream solutions:

1. Make an eye cream using primrose and coconut for evening

I like this eye cream a lot, it is perfect for the evening. Because it contains vitamin E, it will help with firming the skin around your eyes, fighting wrinkles. Furthermore, the primrose will soften the tissue and it will combat any puffiness in the morning. The combination is fabulous, here you have the instructions to make this:

– heat the ½ cup of coconut oil until completely melted
– add about 5 capsules of vitamin E oil
– then, add 3 drops of primrose oil

That’s all. Mix them together and then store in the fridge to solidify it. Once it is solid, you can then keep it in the medicine cabinet, to apply it before bedtime.

2. You can make an eye cream with vitamin E and rosehip for the morning

These two ingredients combined are perfect for wrinkles. Both of them have anti-aging properties that will tighten the skin around your eyes and it will give its elasticity back.

You can make this DIY eye cream by mixing together equal amounts of 3 drops of rosehip oil and vitamin E oil. Then, store it in a container and use it in the morning.

3. This avocado and almond cream is the most nourishing

If you also find to have dry skin around your eyes, these ingredients will nourish it, making it very soft. With their moisturizing properties, there’s nothing that can go wrong. Thus, blend together three slices of avocado and 5 drops of almond oil. You can apply this during the day but make sure to wash it off after 5 minutes.

4. Last but not least, this shea butter and chamomile eye cream should be your everyday secret

These ingredients are amazing because they won’t clog your pores and they will protect the area around your eyes. With its inflammatory properties, the chamomile essential oil is the winner in this recipe. Therefore, to make this homemade eye cream, you need to mix 1 tablespoon of shea butter with 10 drops pure chamomile essential oil. It is easier to melt the shea butter beforehand, so the mixture smoothens when you add the drops. Then, simply store it in a container and use a Q-tip to apply.

Personally, I like to apply this especially a half inch above my upper lash line and below my lower lash line. The wrinkles and puffiness stand no chance with this.

I hope these DIY eye creams will help you as I happen to be really satisfied with the results.
